**Mary Bridge Children’s Breaks Ground on New Pediatric Therapy Center in Tacoma**
MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Network has officially broken ground on a new outpatient children’s therapy center in Tacoma, Washington. The project marks a significant expansion of pediatric services in the region.
The new facility, located at 3307 S. 19th Street across from MultiCare’s Allenmore Hospital, will span two stories and encompass approximately 16,000 square feet. Upon completion, the center will offer a comprehensive range of pediatric outpatient therapies, including physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapy. Additional services will include audiology as well as on-site orthotics and prosthetics.
The project is being developed in partnership with The Rush Companies, a local real estate development, construction, investment, and property management firm. The therapy center is expected to be completed and open to the public by fall 2026.
“This is an exciting time and monumental year for Mary Bridge Children’s,” said Jeff Poltawsky, president and market leader of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network. “We believe kids should be at the front of the line, and we’re grateful to partner with Rush to bring this project to life and improve access to critical rehabilitation services for families in the South Sound and beyond.”
The new therapy center underscores Mary Bridge Children’s commitment to expanding access to specialized pediatric care throughout the region.
