Following the recent acquisition of the Cottontail Logistics Center in Somerset, New Jersey by CBRE Investment Management, CBRE has secured two new long-term leases at the Class A industrial park, bringing the property to full occupancy.
Scentbird, a monthly subscription service offering access to more than 700 fragrances, has signed a lease for 116,530 square feet at 200 Cottontail Lane. Calibre Scientific, which serves the life sciences and diagnostics sector, has committed to 119,325 square feet at 202 Cottontail Lane. Financial terms of the leases were not disclosed.
Leasing efforts were led by CBRE’s Kevin Dudley, Chad Hillyer, and Kate Granahan, who represented the ownership in both transactions. Scentbird was represented by Nicholas Klacik of CBRE, while Calibre Scientific was represented by Gary Politi and Michael Viera of JLL.
“We are delighted to announce these two long-term commitments at Cottontail Logistics Center, a state-of-the-art logistics complex strategically located in the heart of Northern New Jersey,” said Dudley. “With these two new leases, Cottontail Logistics Center is 100% occupied.”
The leases mark a significant milestone for the logistics center, reinforcing the property’s appeal to major tenants and its strategic value in the Northern New Jersey industrial market.
