**LDG Development Secures Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for $100M DFW Project**
LDG Development has been awarded low-income housing tax credits for its latest multifamily venture in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The company has initiated construction on Gateway at Trinity Forest, a 330-unit affordable housing community located at 2200 Dowdy Ferry Road. The $100 million development will be available to households earning at or below 60% of the area median income and is expected to welcome tenants by late 2027.
In addition, the Dallas City Council has approved the application of tax credits to two more LDG projects: the 180-unit Legacy on Belt Line and the 204-unit Heights at UNT Station.
This latest move comes on the heels of LDG’s recent groundbreaking on two affordable housing projects in North Carolina — one in Durham and one in Raleigh — which together will add approximately 300 new units to the region’s affordable housing inventory.
Founded in 1994, LDG Development has established itself as a prominent multifamily developer with more than 22,842 units built across Texas, Kansas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
