**Veolia Relocates Boston Headquarters, Expands in Massachusetts**

Veolia, a global environmental services company, has officially relocated its North American headquarters to 100 Federal Street in Boston’s Financial District. This move marks a significant milestone for the French-based company as it strengthens its presence in Massachusetts.

The relocation comes after Veolia signed a seven-year lease with real estate developer BXP last fall. The new headquarters spans 18,000 square feet—about one-third smaller than the company’s previous office space at 53 State Street. Veolia originally moved its North American offices from Chicago to Boston in 2016.

In tandem with the relocation, Veolia is also expanding its operations in the region through the acquisition of two Massachusetts-based companies: New England Disposal Technologies and New England MedWaste. These strategic acquisitions are part of a $350 million investment aimed at enhancing the company’s ability to serve the state’s robust healthcare and life sciences industries.

The expansion follows Veolia’s recent partnership with the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, designed to help member organizations reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and decarbonize their facilities. This move further underscores Veolia’s commitment to environmental sustainability and innovation within critical industries across the Bay State.
