**Veolia Relocates Boston Headquarters, Expands Operations in Massachusetts**

Environmental services company Veolia has officially relocated its North American headquarters to BXP’s 100 Federal Street in Boston’s Financial District. Alongside the headquarters move, the France-based company is expanding its footprint in Massachusetts through the acquisition of two regional companies: New England Disposal Technologies and New England MedWaste.

Veolia signed a seven-year lease with BXP in the fall of 2024 to move from its previous offices at 53 State Street. The new office space, totaling approximately 18,000 square feet, is roughly one-third smaller than its former location. The company originally moved its U.S. headquarters from Chicago to Boston in 2016.

The recent acquisitions represent a $350 million investment and significantly enhance Veolia’s ability to serve Massachusetts’ growing healthcare and life sciences industries. This strategic expansion comes just two months after the company entered a partnership with the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council. The collaboration aims to help biotech firms across the state reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and advance facility decarbonization efforts.
