**Hyatt Signs On as Hotel Brand for Silverstein’s Casino Bid in Manhattan**

Silverstein Properties, Rush Street Gaming, and Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment have announced that Hyatt’s Destination by Hyatt brand will serve as the hospitality partner for The Avenir—a proposed mixed-use entertainment and casino complex on Manhattan’s Far West Side. This partnership is formalized through a signed letter of intent, with a definitive agreement expected to follow.

The Avenir will feature a luxury hotel comprising 1,000 rooms and suites. Managed under the Destination by Hyatt brand, the hotel will participate in the World of Hyatt loyalty program, offering enhanced benefits for travelers and convention-goers. Strategically located near the Javits Center, The Avenir is expected to significantly support New York City’s convention and tourism industries by integrating hospitality, gaming, and business travel amenities.

“We are very pleased to be working with Hyatt on this exciting development and tap into World of Hyatt’s 56 million members to help drive new business to Manhattan’s Far West Side,” said Tal Kerret, President of Silverstein Properties. “New York City is competing globally for exhibitions, conventions, and meetings. We’ve assembled an extraordinary team of food and beverage partners, and now a leading hotel brand that will help support and add to New York’s vital tourism and convention industries.”
