Greystone Secures $55M Refinance for Affordable Housing Projects in Texas
Greystone has provided $55 million in HUD-insured loans to refinance three affordable housing communities located in Fort Worth and McKinney, Texas. The financing was arranged by Greystone’s Miryam Reinitz-Kops and Jon Morales on behalf of Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. (AHF).
The three properties—Quail Ridge (296 units), Silver Leaf (176 units), and Redbud (150 units)—comprise a total of 622 units. Each property features resident-focused amenities, such as community centers, playgrounds, and on-site laundry facilities. The HUD-insured financing ensures the long-term preservation and affordability of these communities.
“These transactions reflect Atlantic Housing Foundation’s ongoing commitment to the long-term preservation of affordable housing in Texas,” said Michael Nguyen, President and CEO of AHF. “Through this financing vehicle, AHF was able to revitalize and invest back into these assets as part of our greater mission to extend the useful life of much-needed housing in the region.”
Atlantic Housing Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing, rehabilitating, and managing affordable apartment communities tailored to meet the needs of low- to moderate-income households.
