NJ Hinchliffe Stadium Reopens After 90 Years with Affordable Senior Residences

Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey has recently undergone a $103 million revitalization project and reopened its doors. Led by RPM Development Group and BAW Development, the 90-year-old stadium was transformed into an affordable senior housing complex with improved parking and access.

The historic Negro League ballpark is one of the last preserved in the country, now featuring a 7,800-seat athletic facility; a six-story 75 unit senior housing building; museum; food court; preschool; as well as parking garage to host minor league baseball games, high school events concerts and more.  Support for this project came from U.S Senator Cory Booker along with Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh while financing was provided by Goldman Sachs & U.S Bancorp Community Development Corporation respectively .
