**West Grove Development in McKinney Advances to Next Phase**
West Grove, a 52-acre mixed-use development in McKinney, is making steady progress toward completion. Five years in the making, the project has begun to realize its potential, with the first two phases now open to the public and several tenants already operational.
The development is slated to include 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 55,000 square feet of office space, and 420 residential apartments.
De La Vega Development, the company leading the project, began construction in the first quarter of 2023. According to the company, both on-site and off-site infrastructure is now complete. Major components of the master plan have been delivered, and the build-out is moving forward in accordance with the original vision and development strategy.
Among the businesses currently open are OrangeTwist, Velvet Taco, and Chewy Vet Care. Additional tenants, including grocery retailer Whole Foods, are in the process of completing their interior build-outs.
