**McKinney’s West Grove Development Progresses to Next Phase**
West Grove, a 52-acre mixed-use development in McKinney, Texas, is continuing its journey from concept to completion. After five years in the making, the project is now partially open to the public, with several key tenants already up and running.
The development will ultimately feature 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 55,000 square feet of office space, and 420 apartment units. The first two phases are already operational, while construction continues on subsequent stages.
De La Vega Development, the firm behind the project, began infrastructure work in the first quarter of 2023. According to the developer, all on-site and off-site infrastructure is now in place. The project’s foundational elements have been delivered, and construction is advancing in line with the original vision and strategy.
Several businesses, including OrangeTwist, Velvet Taco, and Chewy Vet Care, have opened their doors. Meanwhile, interior build-outs are underway for upcoming tenants, including the popular grocery chain Whole Foods.
As West Grove continues to fill out its roster of tenants and complete its construction milestones, it remains on track to become a dynamic hub for living, working, and dining in McKinney.
