Biotech Startup Leases Permanent Space in Tarrytown

JLL has secured a new lease on behalf of DigiChem Corporation, a digital chemical manufacturing startup, at 500 White Plains Road in Tarrytown, New York. The property is a 155,987-square-foot, Class A office and laboratory building owned by Northpath Investments. Notably, it is reported to be the only turnkey lab facility currently available in the Westchester market.

DigiChem, the latest startup to emerge from BioInc@NYMC — the biotechnology incubator located on the Valhalla campus of New York Medical College — has signed a five-year lease for 3,035 square feet of laboratory space on the building’s fifth floor. This marks its transition from the incubator to its first permanent location.

DigiChem is the second BioInc@NYMC startup to make the move to 500 White Plains Road following Sapience Therapeutics, which leased 8,352 square feet at the property in 2022.

A JLL team led by Executive Vice President Ian Ceppos and Senior Vice President John Cahill is the exclusive leasing agent for the building, which is part of the Tarrytown Corporate Center in Westchester County. DigiChem was represented by Michael Litsky of Rakow Commercial Realty Group.
