**Burlington Coat Factory Signs Long-Term Lease at Gateway Centre in Chicago**
Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation (AAC), a private real estate investment firm led by CEO and Chairman Ben Ashkenazy, has announced that Burlington Coat Factory has signed a long-term lease at its Gateway Centre retail destination in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
The transaction was handled in-house by AAC. Located at 7507 N Clark Street, along the shore of Lake Michigan, Gateway Centre spans 200,000 square feet and is currently nearly 95 percent leased. Anchored by well-known tenants Jewel Osco and LA Fitness, the center is situated less than three miles from downtown Evanston and nine miles from Chicago’s central business district.
The new Burlington Coat Factory store is expected to open by the end of the year. “Burlington Coat Factory joins other excellent retail tenants at Gateway Centre,” said AAC COO Joe Press. The high-visibility retail destination offers direct access to the Howard CTA Station and is conveniently connected to nearby communities as well as downtown Chicago.
