**Score Entertainment to Transform Former Sears Store at Deerbrook Mall into Family Entertainment Center**

Score Entertainment has announced plans to open a new entertainment venue at the site of a former Sears store in Houston. The upcoming 150,000-square-foot facility will be located at Deerbrook Mall, 20131 US Highway 59 N., in Humble, Texas.

According to the Houston Business Journal, the entertainment center will undergo an estimated $2 million renovation, scheduled to begin on June 1. The project is expected to be completed within a year, with Albany Studio leading the design work.

The planned venue will offer a wide range of attractions, including go-kart racing, laser tag, mini golf, virtual reality experiences, a sports simulator, trampoline park, axe throwing, bowling lanes, and an arcade. A food and beverage section will also be included as part of the overall concept.

This project is part of a broader trend to repurpose former Sears locations across the country following the retailer’s closures after 2020. A similar transformation is underway at Willowbrook Mall, where Round1 is developing an entertainment concept in a portion of the former 191,000-square-foot Sears store.
