**Austin’s Tallest Building, Sixth and Guadalupe, Officially Completed**
Sixth and Guadalupe, Austin’s first and tallest mixed-use vertical tower, has officially been completed. Now standing at 865 feet, the tower redefines the city skyline and introduces a new standard in urban living and commercial space.
The landmark project features 349 luxury apartments positioned above 589,000 square feet of Class A office space and ground-level retail. The residential units, developed by Kairoi Residential, occupy the upper half of the tower and range in size from 600 to 1,600 square feet.
Lincoln Property Company oversaw the office portion of the development, while international architecture firm Gensler served as lead designer. According to Gensler, the tower is designed as three distinct buildings stacked vertically and visually unified by a continuous column of glass that extends from the base to the crown.
A key architectural feature of the tower is its response to the Texas Capitol view corridor, which influenced both the shape of the building and the placement of its outdoor amenities. These spaces were deliberately designed to take advantage of sweeping views of the Capitol dome, as well as the surrounding hills and lakes.
The completion of Sixth and Guadalupe marks a significant milestone for Austin’s ongoing downtown development and vertical urban expansion.
