A 20-story mixed-use project has been proposed near North Miami Beach by 18050 W Investments LLC. The project would be located on less than an acre in the Ojus neighborhood, which currently houses two residential buildings. Last year, the property was acquired for a total of $4.22 million.
The development will feature 120 studio and one-bedroom apartments as well as five two-bedroom units with amenities for both tenant types included in the plan. Additionally, it will provide 90,000 square feet of office space spread across multiple floors along with 5580 square feet of commercial space and almost 300 parking spots to accommodate visitors and tenants alike.
In order to move forward with this proposal, a change in zoning is necessary so that both parcels are zoned mixed use corridor instead of just one parcel being zoned this way already . Attorneys Pedro Gassant and Alberto J Torres represented the developer during negotiations while Arquitectonica based out of Miami designed the project itself .
