Gilbert Mixed-Use Project Reaches Milestone: Development Midpoint

Groundbreaking for the 135,000 square foot mixed-use center at Verde in Cooley Station in Gilbert occurred during a Covid slowdown. However, the $60 million project has now opened a number of retail stores with more on the way and 12,000 square feet of additional retail shells planned. Additionally, 750 housing units are proposed across three multifamily communities.

A 39,000 square foot medical office building is also part of this development plan and is expected to be completed by mid 2024 at an estimated cost of $12 million. The Florida-based Sina Cos., who are financing this project through Western Alliance Bank have appointed Plaza Cos to manage leasing for the property.

Furthermore, ten buildings comprising 568 residential units will soon join Cooley Station’s 738-acre master planned neighborhood with TRAX at Cooley Station proposed on 25 acres located near Williams Field Road and Wade Drive intersection..
