Castle Hills Prepares for Inaugural Retail Development

Bright Realty is making significant progress on a $1.3 billion mixed-use development in Lewisville’s Castle Hills area and is preparing to unveil the project’s retail component.

According to the Dallas Business Journal, construction for Crown Centre, a 140-acre development in Lewisville, will begin later this year or early next year. The first phase of retail space will span 13,000 square feet.

This comes after the successful opening of Crown Centre II, a four-story office building worth $50 million that began leasing in fall 2024. This marked an important milestone for the overall development which broke ground back in April 2023.

Crown Centre II sits adjacent to Crown Centre I – a previously opened building with over 95% occupancy spanning across approximately109,000 square feet since its debut back in 2020. Both buildings are situated on a parcel covering around140 acres near Sam Rayburn Tollway.

Upon completion of all phases of construction at Crown Center,Iit is expected to feature up to2 ,000 multifamily units along with three million square feet dedicated towards office space and potentially up to500 hotel rooms as well.
