"Flagship Union Square Location Secures Lease with Activate Games"

Newmark Retail has successfully arranged a retail lease for Activate Games at 24 Union Square East in Manhattan, covering an impressive 14,814 square feet. The leasing agents responsible for this deal were Vice Chairman Jeffrey D. Roseman and Director Drew Weiss, who represented the property’s ownership – the S. Klein Family LLC.

According to Roseman, “Union Square East has experienced a significant revitalization in recent years with the addition of new restaurants and popular national retailers such as Target and Petco opening flagship stores.” He believes that Activate will be a valuable addition to this area of Union Square for many years to come.

Activate is known for its team-based interactive gaming experiences and they have signed a long-term lease agreement for their flagship location on Union Square between 15th and 16th streets. Tristate Real Estate Company’s Chandler Slate and Sherry Chera acted as representatives during negotiations on behalf of Activate while Resolution Real Estate Partners provided consulting services to ownership.
