A new development is in the works for Stillwater Capital Investments and the City of Mansfield. The 210-acre project, located near Methodist Mansfield Medical Center on East Broad Street, will feature a variety of commercial and residential spaces as well as a half-mile canal loop, boardwalk plaza, and 6-acre lake. The estimated cost for this venture is over $1 billion.
The centerpiece of the development will be a new City Hall surrounded by amenities such as hotels, restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues. While designs are still being finalized for these spaces along with the City Hall itself construction is expected to begin in late 2025 with phased openings starting in 2027.
This public-private partnership between Stillwater Capital Investments and the city aims to bring more than $300 million into Mansfield’s economy while creating thousands of jobs. With its prime location between State Highway 360 and U.S Route 287,this project has great potential to boost economic growth in this area.
