Landmark Event Co. has purchased Seattle’s iconic Pier 70 building on the waterfront for a reported $11 million. The property, which was famously featured on MTV’s “The Real World,” boasts not only the pier itself but also office space and restaurants. Located at 2801 Alaskan Way, there is also an additional parcel of land that extends to the shoreline.
According to reports from the Seattle Times, only 36% of the site is currently leased out with a parking garage offering 116 spaces and approximately 70,000 square feet of vacant space available for future use.
Originally built in 1902, Pier 70 has undergone several transformations over its long history including a major renovation in1999 that established it as both an iconic office building and popular waterfront dining destination.
