The owners of Birkdale Village in Huntersville have proposed a $180 million expansion project that would add office space, a hotel, apartments and more retail options. The development group responsible for this plan includes North American Properties, Jamestown and Nuveen Properties. They are seeking a zoning change to allow for the new additions.
