The owners of Birkdale Village in Huntersville have proposed a $180 million expansion plan that includes adding office space, a hotel, and apartments while also expanding the retail offerings. A development group consisting of North American Properties, Jamestown, and Nuveen Properties is seeking a zoning change to move forward with this project.
