Crosland Southeast has announced plans to develop Latta Park, a 30-acre mixed-use development in Durham. The project will include 176 townhouse units for sale, as well as a retail portion spanning 10 acres. This section will feature a Publix supermarket with over 42,000 square feet of space, along with other amenities such as outdoor dining areas and a community park.
According to the Triangle Business Journal, Crosland is investing $30 million into the project for both retail development and infrastructure improvements. The company expects to begin vertical construction on the retail portion in early 2025 and have businesses open by late spring of 2026. Pre-leasing opportunities are already available.
The site’s developer also plans to incorporate local food and beverage concepts into the retail space by offering room for eight tenants – four of which will be dedicated specifically to these types of businesses. With its prime location and diverse offerings, Latta Park is sure to become an exciting destination within Durham’s growing community.
