UTSA and JLL have launched a search for a lead development team to create plans, secure funding, manage operations, and maintain a mixed-use development on 28.46 acres of land owned by the university. The plot is situated at the intersection of North Loop 1604 West and Kyle Seale Parkway. Interested parties must submit their proposals by August 14th, 2024.
JLL’s Mark Krenger, Nina Farrell, and Connor Russell are representing UTSA as their real estate advisors.
The site is located at UTSA’s Park West Campus in close proximity to major establishments such as the main campus of UTSA itself, USAA headquarters,
Valero headquarters,
La Cantera shopping center,
and The RIM Shopping Center.
The area consists of two separate parcels measuring 6.07 acres and
22.39 acres respectively.
UTSA seeks to partner with a developer who shares their vision for creating pedestrian-friendly mixed-use projects that enhance density while providing more amenities and activities for both students at UTSA
and residents in surrounding San Antonio neighborhoods.
Once selected,the chosen developer will enter into a ground lease agreement with UTSA for use of the site.
