Centennial Yards Company has recently signed a long-term lease with Cosm, an immersive technology, media, and entertainment company. This partnership will result in the creation of a 70,000-square-foot three-level venue that will offer live sports and experiential entertainment. The new venture is set to be part of Centennial Yards’ Sports and Entertainment District.
Cosm’s addition marks the beginning of Centennial Yards’ next phase of development which includes approximately 470,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space along with a hotel on a 7.5-acre site adjacent to Atlanta Hawks’ State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The upcoming Cosm venue at Centennial Yards will showcase their cutting-edge proprietary technology throughout its premises including an impressive 87-foot diameter LED dome capable of displaying content in stunning 12K+ resolution. The project is being designed by Gensler while also featuring live sports events as well as productions like Cirque du Soleil’s “O.”
Development at Centennial yards is already underway with construction currently taking place for both a boutique hotel spanning over nineteen stories as well as another residential tower standing tall at nineteen stories high.
