Chick-fil-A Opens New Distribution Center in Selma

Chick-fil-A Inc., based in Atlanta, has opened a new 189,000-square-foot distribution center in Selma. The company’s goal with this warehouse is to enhance its support network for the 135 restaurants located in the area. Constructed by Titan Development and Robinson Weeks, the site at 17640 Ben E. Keith Way will serve as a unit of Chick-fil-A Supply – a subsidiary established in 2020 to optimize product distribution.

The newly opened center aims to streamline order processing for local restaurants and improve efficiency, resulting in faster turnaround times for specific ingredient and product needs. According to reports from The San Antonio Business Journal , Selma was selected as the location due to its ample acreage availability, convenient access to major highways, and accessibilty of skilled workforce. Situated just off Interstate-35,the warehouse is expected hire approximately120 employees within its first year of operation.
