Nintendo of America has announced plans to open a new store in San Francisco’s Union Square by 2025. This will be the second standalone Nintendo store in the U.S., following the one located at Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan.
The company has not revealed any specific details about what will be included at Nintendo San Francisco, but it promises to offer visitors from near and far an immersive experience into its world of products and characters. More information will be released as the opening date approaches.
Apart from its New York City location, Nintendo also operates three standalone stores in Japan – Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto – as well as stores within its theme parks such as Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood. In 2025, another Super Nintendo World is set to open at Universal Orlando.
