Fairfax Approves Residential Rezoning in Tysons - SEO Friendly

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has given the green light for a 23-story residential tower to be built in Tysons’ Arbor Row, replacing a previously approved office building. The decision was made with an 8-1-1 vote, despite objections from county staff. This rezoning will allow for the construction of up to 240 apartments and 8,500 square feet of retail space at the address of 7925 Westpark Drive.

Cityline Partners, along with Bethesda-based Renaissance Centro under contract, is leading this transformation from office to residential use. Construction is expected to begin within the next year and a half pending site plan approval. The Arbor Row area was once home to outdated office buildings but is now being revitalized into a mixed-use development near popular destinations such as Tysons Galleria and Tysons Metro station.

This recent approval by Fairfax County showcases their commitment towards promoting growth and development in this thriving area. Stay updated on all commercial real estate news by following our website Connect CRE.
