The industrial market has experienced significant changes in recent years, but according to David Lockwood of Colliers South Carolina, the sector is currently at a brief pause. As the SIOR Global president and EVP and COO, Lockwood remains positive about the near-term outlook for this industry. He believes that with vacancy rates returning to normal levels, there is great potential for growth in 2024 and 2025.
At Connect Industrial Midwest held at Joe’s Live in Rosemont earlier this month, industry professionals gathered to gain insights into market trends and issues related to logistics as well as construction and design updates. The event also featured a keynote interview with Jim Clewlow from CenterPoint Properties conducted by Connect Media CEO Daniel Ceniceros.
In addition to Clewlow’s valuable insights on the state of industrial real estate, attendees also heard from other experts such as Aaron Martell from Logistics Property Co., Scott Gibbel from Sterling Bay, Kirstin Brodict from JLL,and Dawn Riegelfrom Ware Malcomb during panel discussions.
