"Revamped and Rebranded: The Transformation of Rio Hotel in Las Vegas"

The Rio Hotel & Casino’s renovation program is set to be completed by this fall, with the first phase already underway. As part of this redevelopment project, all 1,500 suites in the Ipanema Tower will be refurbished one floor at a time while keeping the property open for guests. The casino floor and pool area spanning 150,000 square feet will also undergo a refresh along with several food outlets. In addition to these updates, there will be improvements made to streamline the guest check-in process.

Following Phase I’s completion, renovations are planned for the Masquerade Tower which houses 1,000 suites and five or six food outlets. A new food court concept will replace buffets as part of Dreamscape’s vision for Rio Hotel & Casino.

This transformation marks an exciting milestone as it becomes Nevada’s first Destination by Hyatt hotel and adds another Hyatt property to Las Vegas’ hospitality scene.
