Derby Copeland Capital (DCC) has recently closed two loans totaling $21 million for properties located in the East Village and Rose Hill neighborhoods. The first loan, valued at $17 million, was used to acquire 135-139 Avenue A in the East Village. This multifamily building features 31 free-market apartments above ground-floor retail space. In addition to acquisition costs, approximately $4 million of the loan will be allocated towards renovating residential components.
The second loan, worth $3.8 million, was secured for the purchase of 225 East 25th Street in Rose Hill. This fully occupied building boasts twenty residential units and is a prime investment opportunity according to Jesse Hutcher, Founding Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Derby Copeland Capital.
