Tesla Leases 115K SF of Industrial Space in Seattle Area

Tesla has recently expanded its presence in the Seattle area by leasing a 115,000-square-foot industrial space in Renton, Washington. The electric car company plans to use this former metal processing and distribution building as a new site for their service and collision center. Located just minutes away from their existing Tesla store at 700 S. Grady Way, the building will provide convenient access for customers.

According to reports from CBRE, the lease was signed during the third quarter of this year after pre-application documents were filed with the city of Renton last December. This move follows Tesla’s opening of its first Pacific Northwest plant earlier this year at NorthPoint Development’s Cascade Industrial Center in Marysville.

The post on Connect CRE highlights Tesla’s expansion into Seattle through their recent lease agreement for an industrial space measuring over 115,000 square feet. The article emphasizes how this location will serve as a new service and collision center while also mentioning other developments related to Tesla’s growth in the region without explicitly using any specific names or brands.
