Timber Hill Group, based in Chicago and working with Champion Realty Advisors, has successfully secured a long-term lease for a 57,100-square-foot freight terminal on a 15.78-acre property in Carol Stream, Illinois. The joint venture acquired the site in May of 2023 and will be developing it for Mainfreight.
Mainfreight is an international logistics company from New Zealand that specializes in warehousing and distribution services. The new terminal will have state-of-the-art features such as 81 dock doors, parking for cars and trailers as well as office space spanning over two floors which will serve as their North American headquarters.
This project marks the first of two terminals being developed by Timber Hill Group and Champion Realty Advisors on behalf of Mainfreight. Both companies are known for their expertise in developing truck parking lots across various locations within the United States.
