Landmark Properties, a leader in the student housing sector, has achieved great success this fall with the completion of 10 new properties near flagship universities. These properties, totaling 8,195 beds and valued at $2 billion, make up the largest off-campus single-year portfolio ever delivered in this market. This accounts for more than one-quarter of all student housing deliveries during this season.
According to Wes Rogers, president and CEO of Landmark Properties,”Student housing continues to outperform other real estate asset classes even during challenging times such as the Great Financial Crisis and COVID-19.” He also added that “From an operational standpoint, student housing has never performed better.”
As part of their vertically integrated process,Landmark Construction,the firm’s construction arm,served as general contractor for seven out of ten properties delivered this fall.Additionally,the company is set to deliver four non-student residential projects by 2023.
