ZOM Living: Planning Cary Apartments and Townhomes

ZOM Living has recently acquired 19.21 acres of land along Carpenter Fire Station Road in the NC Research Triangle for $12.55 million. This prime location, just west of Highway 55, will be developed into a new apartment complex called Azalea at the Park.

The development will consist of 315 units and also include 15 townhomes as well as up to 5,000 square feet of retail space. The community will be situated on five parcels near Carpenter Fire Station Park and Northwest Cary YMCA.

Azalea at the Park will offer a variety of living options including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from approximately 575 to1,250 square feet in size. The townhomes will have three bedrooms each with an average size of about1,500 square feet and attached garages.

The apartment buildings themselves are planned to be four stories tall while the townhomes are designed with three levels including attached garages on each unit.

Residents can look forward to enjoying a range amenities such as a spacious clubhouse spanning over15 ,000-square-feet that includes areas for community gatherings , wellness activities , fitness center access , convenience market offerings plus remote workspaces . Additionally residents can easily access Morris Branch Greenway directly from their homes .

Construction is slated to begin in early2026 with an estimated completion date set for early2028 .
