**Z Life Co. Breaks Ground on Major Las Vegas Development**
Z Life Co. has commenced construction on a large-scale, multi-tower residential and hospitality project located near the intersection of Coolidge Avenue and First Street in Las Vegas. The development, which carries a projected investment of approximately $300 million, will include condominiums, hotel rooms, and apartments.
The first major phase of the project, known as Midtown Plaza, will consist of six new buildings centered around The English Hotel — a property previously developed by Z Life. Midtown Plaza marks a significant expansion of Z Life’s footprint in the downtown Las Vegas area.
Beyond Midtown Plaza, other substantial developments are beginning to take shape just south of Charleston Boulevard. Southern Land Co. is currently working on a 337-unit rental community near California Avenue and Third Street. The project will consist of three seven-story buildings and will offer a variety of amenities including ground-floor commercial space, a two-story fitness center, and a rooftop deck. The complex is expected to open in early 2026.
Additionally, Cedar Street Companies and Bridge Investment Group are collaborating on a 311-unit apartment development at the corner of Commerce Street and Imperial Avenue, further contributing to the area’s dynamic residential growth.
These projects collectively signal a new wave of investment and urban development in downtown Las Vegas, aiming to attract both residents and visitors with a mix of modern housing and hospitality options.
