The steady addition of recognizable retail and F&B brands at a large outlet center points to durable tenant demand for dominant open-air retail, supporting income stability for owners and lenders in this format.

Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, described as New England’s largest outdoor outlet shopping destination, is expanding its mix of retailers and dining concepts with several new brands joining the property. The center is adding both retail and food and beverage offerings, underscoring an active period of merchandising activity at the outlet complex.

HARIBO has recently celebrated the grand opening of its store at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. The confectionery brand, based in Germany, is positioning this location as one of its first retail outlet stores in the United States. The opening was marked by a full weekend of grand opening festivities, highlighting the significance of the new store both for the brand and for the center’s retail lineup.

Additional tenants are scheduled to arrive in quick succession. Arc’teryx Factory Outlet, an outdoor and performance apparel retailer, and Gong Cha, a beverage concept, are slated to open later this month. Their arrival will further diversify the center’s mix by adding another technical apparel operator and an additional dining and beverage option to the existing roster.

The next wave of openings is planned for September, when Zwilling Factory Outlet and Birkenstock are expected to debut at the property. With Zwilling’s kitchenware offerings and Birkenstock’s footwear merchandising, the upcoming additions will continue to broaden the range of product categories represented at the outlet center.

Overall, the newcomers will join an existing lineup of more than 150 brands and dining options already operating at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. The scale of the tenant roster underscores the property’s role as a major regional shopping destination, with a combination of outlet retail and food and beverage concepts designed to appeal to a wide visitor base.

Ashley Feldhouse, Area Director of Marketing and Business Development, characterized the current period as a particularly active one for the property. Feldhouse noted that August is shaping up to be one of the outlet center’s biggest months, pointing to the HARIBO grand opening festivities as an illustration of the momentum building at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. Feldhouse added that with Arc’teryx and Gong Cha opening shortly, followed by Birkenstock and Zwilling in September, visitors will have a growing array of brands to discover in the coming months.

The sequence of recent and upcoming openings at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets highlights ongoing retailer interest in locating at the center and reflects a merchandising strategy focused on adding both global brands and diverse dining options. For the outlet property, the additions enhance the depth of its tenant mix and reinforce its positioning as a large-format, open-air retail destination serving the New England region.
