Woodlands Towers Reach 100% Occupancy: A Look at the Milestone

The Howard Hughes Corp. is nearing full occupancy for the Woodlands Towers office buildings, which were purchased four years ago for over $500 million. One of the two buildings has gone from 0 to 83% occupancy, with a single-tenant building bought in 2019 and subsequently converted into a multi-tenant building. Recently, three new tenants have moved into 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower: Kodiak Gas Services (53,060 sq ft), Kraton Corp (27,179 sq ft) and US Oncology (26 530 sq ft). These moves bring total occupancy at The Woodlands Towers up to 93%, with Occidental Petroleum occupying the other tower fully. With only 7% vacancy remaining across both towers combined it appears that 100% occupancy is within reach for The Howard Hughes Corporation’s investment in The Woodlands area of Houston Texas .
