M&T Bank has secured a lease for 39,000 square feet of office space at Winthrop Center, a mixed-use tower in Boston developed by Millennium Partners. The transaction was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield’s George O’Connor and Thomas Ashe on behalf of M&T Bank, while CBRE represented Millennium Partners.

The office space at Winthrop Center boasts the distinction of being the largest Passive House certified building globally. In fall 2024, M&T Bank is set to occupy this energy-efficient workspace. Additionally, Winthrop Center offers an array of amenities including The Connector – a public gathering area – and The Collective – a 25,000-square-foot common area equipped with co-working spaces as well as fitness and wellness facilities.

According to Grace Lee, Massachusetts Regional President for M&T Bank: “At our bank we prioritize providing top-notch work environments for our employees complete with exceptional amenities and cutting-edge technology.”
