WinnDevelopment and Arch Communities Launch Braintree Mixed-Income Multifamily Project

Construction has begun on The Eastwalk, a $47 million mixed-income apartment community in Braintree, MA. Developed by WinnDevelopment and Arch Communities, the five-story property will feature 56 units and is located on the former site of the Braintree Electric Light Department.

The Eastwalk will offer a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. This includes 30 units for households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income (AMI), 20 middle income/workforce units for those earning up to 120% of AMI, and six market-rate units.

According to WinnDevelopment EVP Adam Stein, this project was made possible thanks to the support from local officials who were committed to creating not only quality homes but also a valuable asset for the neighborhood. He expressed gratitude towards their joint venture partner Arch Communities as well as other public and private partners who have been involved in this project over several years.
