WinnCompanies has recently introduced the Connected Communities Foundation (CCF), a nonprofit organization committed to developing and expanding community-based initiatives for affordable housing residents across the country.
Previously an internal department, Connected Communities has now expanded its reach to over 230 communities in 18 states. As a private operating foundation, CCF aims to further extend its impact and garner philanthropic support. The CCF Board of Directors will be led by Trevor Samios as chairperson, with Mai Dang serving as President. Their efforts are focused on promoting community engagement, economic mobility, education opportunities, employment prospects, health initiatives and stable housing solutions.
According to WinnCompanies CEO Gilbert Winn: “Our main objective when we established Connected Communities seven years ago was not only providing quality homes for our residents but also offering meaningful assistance in addressing social issues such as education challenges and economic hardships.”
