Flora Salon has secured a 3,000-square-foot space at 89 Kent Ave in Williamsburg. The highly anticipated salon is scheduled to open its doors in March of 2024.
Renowned designer Peter Sibilia, known for his work on iconic New York City clubs such as Naked Lunch, the Roxy, and Glamorama, will be spearheading the design of the space. His impressive portfolio also includes projects like DJ Sky Nellor’s Chelsea penthouse and staging homes for the former owners of The Onion.
According to Sibilia himself: “Williamsburg is an ideal location with its reputation for setting trends and fostering a vibrant arts culture.” He further adds that “the location just a few blocks from Bedford Avenue puts it in close proximity to popular neighborhood hotspots like Brooklyn Bowl, Wythe Hotel [now Arlo Williamsburg], and Williamsburg Hotel.”
The announcement about Flora Salon’s new lease agreement comes as no surprise given its prime location within this thriving community.
