Williamsburg Supercharging Station: Revel Relocates to New Location

Charney Companies and Tavros Capital have signed a lease agreement with electric vehicle company, Revel, to relocate its corporate headquarters and install an ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging station at The Dime building in Brooklyn. Located at 275 South 5th St in Williamsburg, the 16-stall EV charging station is the largest publicly accessible fast charger in New York state, offering a full charge within 10 to 20 minutes. This addition of new hubs makes Revel the city’s largest provider of public fast-charging infrastructure as New York State seeks to accelerate adoption of EVs.

Tavros Holdings and Charney Construction acquired The Dime Savings Bank building – a 1908 landmarked property – back in 2016; redeveloping it into a 340,000 square foot mixed use space that includes apartments, retail stores and Class A office spaces. Rosenberg & Estis represented the property owners during this agreement with Stephen A Millington leading their team.
