### Whole Foods Confirms New Store in Frisco’s The Mix Development

Whole Foods has announced plans for a new store in Frisco, Texas. The upcoming 40,000-square-foot location will be situated within The Mix, a large-scale development that broke ground in January. The Austin-based grocer currently operates four stores across the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and has over 500 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The Mix is set to span 112 acres and will include medical offices, 630 townhomes, an 8-acre park, trails, and a parking garage. The total cost of the project is projected to be $3 billion.

To support the development, Frisco has approved $113 million in grants to help initiate construction for the new walkable community, which will be built on the site of the former Wade Park property.

The Mix is also planned to feature over 2 million square feet of Class-A office space. The project is being led by JVP Development, with involvement from StreetLights Residential, Torti Gallas + Partners, CallisonRTKL, Kimley-Horn, The Retail Connection, and JLL.
