Whitman Family Development has recently unveiled plans for a mixed-use development in the bustling commercial district of Bal Harbour, Florida. The project will feature both attainable and market-rate residences, as well as a boutique hotel.
This new development is part of Whitman’s larger Bal Harbour Shops project, which boasts over 100 shops, restaurants, and entertainment options that cater to both locals and tourists. The mixed-use development will include 600 high-end residential units with 40% designated for workforce housing and the remaining 60% reserved for luxury housing. Additionally, there will be an upscale hotel with 70 rooms and an additional retail space spanning over 45,700 square feet.
The proposed towers are expected to reach approximately 275 feet in height – consistent with other buildings in the area such as the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort located directly across from this new project site.
