Whitman Expands Bal Harbour Offerings

Whitman Family Development has recently unveiled plans for a mixed-use development in the bustling commercial district of Bal Harbour, Florida. This new project will feature both attainable and market-rate residences, as well as a boutique hotel.

The renowned Bal Harbour Shops, also developed by Whitman, is already home to over 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment options that cater to both locals and tourists alike. The proposed mixed-use development will include 600 high-end residential units with 40% designated for workforce housing and the remaining 60% reserved for luxury living. Additionally, there are plans for a sophisticated hotel with 70 rooms and an additional retail space spanning over 45,700 square feet.

In line with other buildings in the Village of Bal Harbour – including the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort located across from this new development – Whitman’s towers are expected to reach approximately up to275 feet tall.

This expansion by Whitman is set to elevate the offerings at Bal Harbor even further without compromising on its unique charm.
