The Self Storage Advisory Group at Cushman & Wakefield recently finalized the sale of a valuable self-storage portfolio in Southern California. The two properties, managed by StorQuest Self Storage, are located in Carson and Carlsbad and were constructed in 2006 and 2008. With a combined total of 270,841 rentable square feet and 2,284 units, these assets are strategically situated in prominent areas with high-end visibility.

Westport Properties was the purchaser of this core portfolio while the seller remains undisclosed. Representing the seller was Cushman & Wakefield’s Greg Wells, Kevin Cuff, Luke Elliott,and Mike Mele from their Self Storage Advisory Group.

One property is situated on approximately four-and-a-half acres at 17106 Avalon Blvd., boasting prime accessibility on a heavily trafficked thoroughfare within Los Angeles’ South Bay region. The other location is positioned on roughly three-and-a-half acres at an intersection with significant traffic flow as well; it can be found at2500 Campbell Pl.in Carlsbad.

This acquisition adds over2 ,300 self-storage units to Westport Properties’ growing portfolio across LAand San Diego metros . This transaction marks another successful deal for both parties involved.
