"Westminster Welcomes Carroll County Board of Elections' Relocation"

The Carroll County Board of Elections has recently announced their relocation to Airport Square in Westminster, Maryland. The move will see the board occupying a total of 29,046 square feet across two buildings – a 23,422-square-foot warehouse at 125 Airport Drive for storing voting equipment and networks, and a separate space at 1135 Business Parkway spanning over 5,627 square feet for administrative offices and specialized election rooms.

According to Erin Perrone, the election director for the board of elections in Carroll County: “We have been facing space constraints at our current location for quite some time now. This expanded space will not only allow us to accommodate more voters but also improve overall efficiencies and operations.” The lease was brokered by Bill Harrison and Ben Brooks from Lee & Associates on behalf of Holland Properties.

This recent development marks an important step towards addressing operational needs while ensuring better accessibility for voters in Carroll County.
