Johnson Development Services is making progress on their newest project, Park Eight Place. This 70-acre mixed-use development is located in the Westchase District just west of Houston.
Construction contracts for the infrastructure of Park Eight Place have been awarded and work is expected to begin later this year. The development will be situated at the intersection of Bellaire Boulevard and Beltway 8, offering a variety of residential and office options.
One unique aspect of this project is its integration with Arthur Storey Park, a neighboring 200-acre park. The development will feature an extensive network including plazas, parks, trails and trailheads that connect to Brays Bayou Greenway hike-and-bike trail. This popular trail links Katy to downtown Houston and beyond.
To ensure success in creating an innovative space for residents and businesses alike, Johnson Development Services has enlisted top firms such as Gensler (a global design & architecture firm), TBG Partners (a landscape architecture & urban design firm) ,and BGE (formerly known as Brown & Gay Engineers). Additionally,Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone financing will be utilized for this project’s advancement.
