Weill Cornell Medicine is expanding its presence on the Upper East Side with a new student residence. This state-of-the-art building will double the current residential living space and provide modern accommodations for 272 students, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.
The $260 million project is focused on promoting academic success and overall wellness for students. It will feature study areas, collaboration spaces, recreational facilities, fitness amenities,and socialization areas. The construction of this eco-friendly residence has been made possible by generous donations from campaign co-chairs Jeffrey Feil and Sanford I. Weill who have contributed a total of $122 million towards its development.
